Dr. Elizabeth Olson is a psychologist in private practice in Boulder, Colorado. In her practice, she offers individual, family, and group psychotherapy. Dr. Olson offers psychological treatment founded in neuropsychology and relational psychotherapy. She integrates modern psychoanalytical approaches with dialectical behavior therapy skills in her work with adolescents, young adults, families and groups.
Dr. Olson provides treatment for people who struggle with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, bi-polar disorder, substance use, and social difficulties. She also works with adults who are interested in personal growth. She enjoys working creatively with her clients to address unconscious and procedurally-based patterns that occur in relationships with others. Dr. Olson enjoys group psychotherapy because she experiences group as a challenging and potent method for working through long standing, interpersonal difficulties. Dr. Olson recently started the Collective for Psychological Wellness. At the Collective, Dr. Olson has a team of providers that include psychotherapists and mentors who offer a full range of psychological services. We offer wrap around, transitional living support for adolescents and young adults who are at risk for residential or wilderness settings or who are returning from higher levels of care We offer DBT groups, individual and family psychotherapy, parent coaching, and mentoring services to support the therapeutic services with academic, vocational, and independent, living skill support.
